Seaton’s pose was the perfect shape to fit this bend in the River Humber. He posed for me remotely from Australia (while I was in the UK) and this was one of a couple of hundred shots from the session.
It is printed on a cut section of an old Ordnance Survey map on which I’ve painted cyanotype chemicals along the course of the river. I’ve used watercolour blocking fluid along each river bank to help contain the chemicals.
Materials: Map paper; cyanotype chemicals
