An A3 mosaic of Leonardo da Vinci’s portrait of the Mona Lisa.
This is composed of three different mosaics with varying tile sizes laid one on top of the other. By doing that, I can selectively remove tiles from specified areas to vary the definition of the finished image across its overall surface.
