A mosaic of Vermeer’s Girl with a Pearl Earring. In this case it’s actually three mosaics on top of one another: one quite coarse, one mid-fine, and one fine. I’ve selectively removed tiles from each of the three layers to play with the level of detail in each part of the image. Here’s a close-up of the face.
