This is my biggest landscape to date. It’s A3, and comprised of 14 A4 sized birch panels. The landform was designed by hand on iPad before being laser cut. Each of the levels is a different colour, from white through to red. The backing board was also painted white to pull things together.

I originally painted the panels in shades of red and yellow, but repainted them after the first attempt as the mid-tones tended towards an unattractive peach colour.
The panels were sanded and varnished before being framed.
