
This picture of a school of fish was drawn using 425 vertical lines on five layers. The fish are white objects that are placed above of below a specified number of layers to allow more or fewer vertical lines to tun through them. The more lines that run through them, the deeper in the water they appear to be.

The image above shows the plotted lines in greater detail. Each line is deliberately wobbly to give the appearance of having been hand-drawn.
