Single line plot in white ink on black card. Plotting white on black is particularly difficult as the pen often misses parts on its journey. It is therefore often necessary to go over the same area multiple times. In this instance, the image was drawn three times on top of itself.
The image is made of a single snaking line that is horizontal where the background is black, and wiggles more and more for the lighter areas. This is the inverse of the behaviour usually exhibited with this kind of picture where horizontal lines denote light areas and wiggles are for darker patches. In this instance, this was achieved by inverting the picture before starting work on it.
