This A2 portrait was typed on a manual Imperial typewriter. It took around a month to produce. The model posed remotely.
The image is made by stacking up to three characters (including letters, numbers, and punctuation) in each location to achieve the required density.
The data is organised on a spreadsheet and read from an iPad during the manual typing process.
