Jonathan posed remotely for a series of pictures, one of which became this plotted portrait. It is composed of around 60,000 short vertical lines, each of which was drawn with a blue Pilot rollerball. The image above shows some of the lines in greater detail.

This picture was drawn on A2 paper, after a previous attempt to draw a larger version on A1 failed when the brand new pen ran out of ink.
