I like playing with the idea of physical censorship, using elements within an image to hide specific parts. Here, I’ve made two prints of a single pose, with one inverted. They’ve been mounted on card and cut as jigsaws using a laser cutter. As the pieces in each jigsaw are identical, I can then swap from one to the other.

The result is reminiscent of a glitch on a poorly-tuned television, which breaks the flow of each image, censoring its content. Only by reconstituting each jigsaw is it possible to unscramble the two images.
